Steve Jobs Commencement Speech


Steve Jobs, Apple's chairman, founder and former chief executive, died Wednesday at age 56 after a long battle with cancer.

Apple Inc., later confirmed his death and released a short statement:

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs has died today. Steve Bright, passion and energy were the source of many innovations that enrich and improve our lives. The world is infinitely better, because Steve".

Jobs had just resigned from Apple's CEO in August.

His long battle with cancer began when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003. He underwent a liver transplant in 2009 after taking a break, what would be the first of the three.
