Columbus Day

Monday, October 10 Columbus Day and the children have Baristaville out of school, except students of SOMA, no day of rest for them. If you have to work, we have compiled a list of camp options:
Responsibilities of the field one day
Who: Children in grades 2-4
What: How do people live when they had to use their own knowledge and skills of forest to survive? Discover and learn during a walk in the wetlands, making pottery, bone marrow, fire by friction, and more. Rubber boots provide.

Where: Essex County Environmental Center, Garibaldi Hall. 621A Eagle Rock Avenue Roseland, NJ.
When: Monday, October 10 9:30 to 4:30.

Camp Live Y'ers little vacation

Who: Children 3 to 6.
What: A day full of fun activities: swimming, gymnastics, arts and crafts and much more!
Where: The Geyer Family YMCA, 159 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair, NJ, 07042.
When: Monday, October 10. Children can be dropped off earlier at 7:30 and picked up as late as 6:30 p.m.
Price: Members - $ 47 per day / Non-Member - $ 57 per day. To reserve a seat for your child, payment and registration form must be completed for each date part. Please register within 3 working days before the date of the program. Registration received at least three days before camp will be charged an additional fee of $ 10.

Living Y'ers holiday camp
Who: Children in grades 1 to 8
What: A day full of fun activities.
Where: Montclair YMCA, 25 Park Street, Montclair, NJ, 07042nd
When: Monday, October 10. Children can be dropped off earlier at 7:30 and picked up as late as 6:30 p.m.
Cost: Members - $ 47 per day / non-members - $ 57 per day. To reserve space for your child, payment and registration must be completed for each day of absence. Register within 3 working days before the date of the program. Registration received less than 3 days prior to camp will be charged an additional fee of $ 10.

SDA Montclair Soccer Field

Who: 3 to 12
What: half a football camp and complete.
Where: Montclair SDA, 14 Depot Square, Montclair, NJ, 07042
When: Monday October 10. Peanuts (ages 3-4) 9-10: 30 AM / Kickers (ages 5-8 years) Pro Training (ages 9-12) 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. $ day / Full 9-15 (ages 5-12)
Cost: $ 25 Peanuts / Kickers & Training Pro $ 40 per day / full $ 70. Register online.

Harvest Festival

Who: all ages.
What: Family fun day with pony rides, a, pumpkin painting, the zoo, a haunted house, crafts and much more.
Where: Women's Club of Glen Ridge, 219 Ridgewood Avenue, Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
When: Monday, October 10th 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..
Cost: $ 14 each or $ 40 maximum per family.
Hiking holiday in Essex County Reserve Eagle Rock
Who: Children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

What: Do not stay on your day off from school - enjoy the great outdoors! Come learn more about hiking and parks and fauna. These trips have no program, just be prepared to have fun! It is a good time to see the birds in the fields and woods. The tour will be led by the New Jersey Audubon Environmental Educator Kelly Wenzel. This is a good time to look for migrating hawks.
