It's not plain words, when fans praise them as gods of their respective fields. While AR Rahman has won all top awards including two Oscars, Grammys and many more, Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the world's best cricketer of all time, holding almost all the records in cricket under his belt.
Both the Indian icons met up on stage during AR Rahman's concert at the DY Patil Stadium recently. Sachin, on the occasion said that AR Rahman has taken Indian music to a different level. He also added that Rahman is so global, yet so Indian.
Rahman for his part said that Sachin is the guy who made him watch cricket. When Sachin presented Rahman a bouquet and hugged him, the entire crowd of 30,000 people present at the stadium roared with applause.
